Your new favourite coffee spot? Your very own office
Witzig The Office Company

When you think of the quality of coffee offered in an office, it doesn’t conjure up images of high-quality espresso – rather a lonely cold filter jug in the corner of a kitchen. But Swiss-based vending operator Witzig The Office Company, is on a mission to change that through offering great coffee experiences which are mainly tailored for large banking, insurance, telecoms and auto companies, with Eversys coming along for the ride.
Patrik Büschi, Business Director Coffee Solutions at Witzig The Office Company, was keen to utilise the guaranteed expert quality that he knew fellow Swiss-based companies could provide. “Eversys’ reputation as a quality Swiss manufacturer has been very important for us to build our brand and grow our market in Switzerland. We’re very proud to be working with another Swiss company – you just know it’s quality you can get nowhere else.”
Patrik was in search of an authentic, simple, all-in-one solution to wow his customers. He said: “Our customers want the same thing as everyone else in their quest for a coffee – everyone simply wants a great cup of coffee in the morning. They want the great taste of an Italian coffee bar – which at Witzig The Office Company, we’re creating for our clients in their office. They expect a small, simple solution that’s easy to use, and delivers on quality, service, cost control and a fresh taste. More than ever they want it to be sustainable, our customers are starting to shy away from coffee pods which were once famed for their ease of use, but now shunned for their impact on the environment. An issue that we don’t have to consider with Eversys’ machines.”
As you’d expect, surface space is a huge factor for Witzig The Office Company customers, but it also has to look good. That’s why they use the Cameo C’2m which only uses 43cm of surface space. “The design is great; the colours are beautiful, and they integrate well with the office environment. The interface is simple to use – it’s all self-explanatory. There’s practically no effort needed for the everyday cleaning routine! It would be hard to find a machine that is better for the office environment than the C’2m – and that’s why nearly all of our customers have them installed. “
As a company with very low service contribution, smart machines such as the Eversys range, provide insights from telemetry that are particularly useful for Witzig The Office Company. This allows them to understand their clients’ maintenance issues while keeping costs down. Thanks to the e'Connect™ telemetry technology, the Eversys C’2m machines enable transparency on key parameters. Whether that’s hourly, daily or monthly, a combination of productivity statistics, technical performance or drinks profiles, Patrik and his customers can access key management information. What’s more, with the ability to modify machine parameters remotely, Witzig The Office Company can foresee and avoid maintenance issues before they happen and ensure the machine is always working at its best.
When reviewing the machine, Patrik went on to share that “The Cameo machines help us to achieve our goals. We have systems with a great interface that send data insights to us from the cloud. It helps us to deliver our ‘Coffee as a Service’ business. Good service is so important in every aspect of our jobs, and Eversys helps makes that simple for us to provide.”
What does the future hold for Witzig The Office Company and Eversys? A solid, growing relationship in Switzerland. Patrik's goal is to order 500-600 machines in the next 5 to 6 years in Switzerland – no mean feat for a company that is relatively new to the market.
“Our customers love the machines; we always get a big smile – which is all you can ask for really. Our relationship with Eversys is very important for our future, as we look to expand, grow and cement ourselves, we’ll certainly be using more of the Eversys machines. My personal goal? Replace every pod or capsule machine in Switzerland with an Eversys machine – we’ve got a way to go but I’m confident we can do it!”
