Treviso week

‘Our people are at the heart of what we do and our values are an integral part of who we are’ is what came out from our Team building event in Treviso this week.

This past week in Treviso (Italy), the Eversys team met for 5 days of intense and interesting debates about present and future dreams and projects.

During a Swot analysis exercise, an internal employee poll’s results highlighted that we, as Eversys employees, strongly identify ourselves as ‘a powerful and passionate team’, and we deeply believe in our products. This is our driving force.

Most of the meetings were hosted at the De’Longhi’s headquarters site, where Vice-Chairman and CEO of the De’Longhi Group, Mr Fabio De’Longhi, together with Chief Operating and Technology Officer, Mr Nicola Serafin, made a cameo appearance and expressed their satisfaction with the good partnership between our respective organisations and their wish to continue helping us to grow. Fabio said: ‘Our two companies follow different business models but we all share the same passion for coffee’. Nicola Serafin further stated: ‘We are a big company, but we have a lot to learn from you’.

Eversys Managing Director, Martin Strehl and Eversys Co-Founder, Jean-Paul In Albon took this opportunity to offer them a Cameo machine that will be on show in the De’Longhi’s impressive showroom.

The workshop session was followed by a very interesting visit to the Treviso De’Longhi’s production site.

To close up the week, a Team Building event organised by Claudio Maschietto (Regional Business Development Director for Asia region)was the cherry on top of the cake. Located in the beautiful and historic prosecco vineyard area, Conegliano Valbbiadene, Claudio’s parents along with his sister, Sabina, hosted us for a fantastic prosecco wine tasting and lunch at their property, demonstrating once again the phenomenal trait of Italian hospitality.

Located a mere 40 miles from Venice, it is situated on the ‘Strada del Prosecco’ who winds its way through the entire DOCG region.

We could feel that strong team spirit transpiring throughout the week, people and conversations intertwining through the depth of night, and that is also what makes us all proud of to be part of the Eversys adventure…
